Our Mission
Provide research-based, scalable literacy and language resources to parents and educators so all children can achieve their full potential in life.
WE BELIEVE CHANGE IS POSSIBLE —AND SCALABLE

There’s a saying: “What gets measured, gets done.”
We agree.
When teachers are provided with just-in-time insights into how well each student is progressing on the path to literacy they can focus on the right remedy.
Our program aims to do just that.
We bring administrators and policy-makers into the conversation so everyone is looking at the same measures and data.
Then things get done.

WE SUPPORT SCIENCE OF READING INSTRUCTION
Science of Reading emphasizes explicit, systematic phonics instruction along with language comprehension as the foundation for reading success.
The Five Pillars of Literacy support the science of reading, representing the core components of literacy that children need to develop strong reading skills.

ALIGNING WITH THE WORLD BANK R.A.P.I.D. FRAMEWORK
Our initiatives align with the evidence-based R.A.P.I.D. Framework developed by the World Bank to tackle learning losses caused by the pandemic:
Reach all children;
Assess learning;
Prioritize the fundamentals,
Increase the efficiency of instruction, and
Develop psychosocial health and wellbeing.
Our goal is to work alongside educators and organizations in each country to accelerate the changes that are urgently needed.
